Welcome to Loop Remote Control ("Loop Remote", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Loop Remote Control mobile app on iOS and Android. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. They are intentionally short — please read them.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Loop Remote Control on devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (on iOS), the Google Play Terms of Service (on Android), and these terms.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Some features of Loop Remote Control are unlocked through in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play and managed on our side by RevenueCat.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to extract the source code of the app. Don't use Loop Remote Control to interfere with devices you do not own or have permission to control. Don't use the app in a way that violates applicable law.
Third-party services
Loop Remote Control interacts with televisions and streaming devices over your local network and relies on third-party providers including AppStack, Firebase (Google LLC), and RevenueCat. Their processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Apple TV, tvOS, AirPlay, Android and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Loop Remote Control is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
Updates
We ship updates regularly to add features, improve performance, and fix bugs. Some updates may change or remove functionality. We may discontinue features that are no longer maintainable.
Disclaimer
Loop Remote Control is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every TV model.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Loop Remote Control at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. Active subscriptions can still be managed and cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Loop Remote Control's publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
